Kkeuthan Clinic's Absorption Method: Layering Technique

Juvelook may be difficult to absorb by simply applying it to the skin surface. Therefore, Kkeuthan Clinic

is applying a skin booster layering absorption technique utilizing MTS (Microneedle Therapy System) and needle radiofrequency (Secret RF) devices.

The particle size of Juvelook skin booster is approximately 30-50μm. Therefore, using MTS or Secret RF can facilitate absorption. Nevertheless, to minimize drug loss and ensure effective delivery, we perform the procedure using a layering technique.

MTS Layering Technique

MTS creates microscopic channels approximately 150μm in size on the skin, providing pathways for drug absorption.

At Kkeuthan Clinic, MTS is divided into 4 stages for layering, which helps to increase drug absorption.

Priming application on the epidermal layer

Application targeting the epidermal layer after shallow needling

Targeted application at the dermal-epidermal junction

Customized application for areas requiring focus, such as pores or scars

Following this, soothing care, such as a Jaungo modeling pack, is provided to reduce the burden of inflammatory reactions and conclude the procedure.

Secret RF Needle Radiofrequency Layering Technique

Secret RF creates channels approximately 180μm in size, then uses radiofrequency heat to constrict these pathways. This can reduce the phenomenon of fluid reflux (overflow) that may occur during conventional needle procedures. This method helps Juvelook to be delivered more efficiently to the dermal layer.

There may be differences in terms of drug loss compared to manual injection methods. However, Secret RF helps to deliver Juvelook relatively uniformly to the target dermal layer and is characterized by less pain. It also ensures uniform drug absorption.

Similar to MTS treatment, the needle depth can be adjusted, allowing for a 4-step layering technique.

What is Juvelook Skinbooster?

Juvelook is a type of skinbooster that combines Polydielactic acid (PDLLA) and Hyaluronic acid (HA) ingredients.

It can help manage skin texture, pores, fine lines, and acne scars, and by stimulating the production of autologous collagen and elastin in the dermis, it can contribute to improving overall skin elasticity and density.

PDLLA has smaller particles compared to existing PLLA ingredients (such as Sculptra).
